- Founded in 1922 as The Fort Wayne Lions Club

- Has been helping the Salvation Army at Christmas since 1929

- Has been sponsoring youth for Boys' State since 1938

- Sponsored the first District 25B subdistrict convention

- Has been the host club for two Indiana Lions State Conventions in Fort Wayne

- Has been a vital component of the Lions/VOSH eye care missions to Honduras and El Salvador for nearly 20 years
